It's already Week 3 of the NFL schedule. We get the first of too many London games. Baltimore Ravens @? Jacksonville Jaguars across the pond. That game will start at the ridiculous hour of 6:30 in the morning on the west coast of the U.S. Actually it's already started. Here are some predictions on a game in progress and 14 that aren't.
Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Pick: Ravens
My greatest hope for this game is that it's a good one. As with the Thursday Night games the London games are usually sloppy, disappointing affairs. That being said, the Rams-49ers game last Thursday was a fun one. More of that. Please.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Minnesota Vikings
Pick: Vikings
Enough said.
Houston Texans @ New England Patriots
Pick: Patriots
Watching DeShaun Watson evolve as an NFL quarterback should be fun.
Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets
Pick: Dolphins
It's going to be tough to pick the Jets in any game this season.
New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles
Pick: Eagles
While I believe that the Giants will break out of their offensive funk at some point I have a tough time predicting a win until they do.
Cleveland Browns @ Indianapolis Colts
Pick: Browns
Coin flip.
Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions
Pick: Falcons
The Lions come back to Earth.
New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers
Pick: Saints
The Saints finally come to life against the Panthers?
Denver Broncos @ Buffalo Bills
Pick: Broncos
The Broncos have played as well as any team through two weeks. The Bills haven't.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Chicago Bears
Pick: Steelers
I'm most looking forward to watching the Steelers speedy defenders chase Tarik Cohen around the field.
Seattle Seahawks @ Tennessee Titans
Pick: Titans
Why do the Seahawks always seem to take about half the season to get rolling?
Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers
Pick: Chargers
The Chargers finally hit a game-winning kick. The AFC West is going to be a blast this season.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Green Bay Packers
Pick: Packers
It's still early but the Bengals haven't played so hot.
Oakland Raiders @ Washington Redskins
Pick: Redskins
The Redskins get some revenge for Super Bowl XVIII.
Dallas Cowboys @ Arizona Cardinals
Pick: Cowboys
The Cowboys offense, and Ezekiel Elliott in particular, have to play better than they did last week. That's no great insight. The Cardinals do have the talent on defense to do something close to what the Broncos defense did to the Cowboys. But, will they?
Here's to good games.
