After this week's games the 2017 NFL season will be 1/8 done. The season is flying.
Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Pick: Vikings
Is there really any other possibility?
New England Patriots @ New Orleans Saints
Pick: Patriots
While I really think that the Patriots will have difficulty slowing the Saints offense I just can't see them dropping to 0-2.
Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens
Pick: Ravens
It's been a couple decades but I still can't shake the thoughts that this matchup is Browns vs Browns. I guess that it'll always be that way.
Chicago Bears @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Pick: Buccaneers
It's week 2 and the Buccaneers play their first game. Bet they're itchy.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Kansas City Chiefs
Pick: Chiefs
I pick the Chiefs simply because Andy Reid knows his offense better than Doug Pederson.
Buffalo Bills @ Carolina Panthers
Pick: Panthers
The Bills can't play the Jets every week.
Arizona Cardinals @ Indianapolis Colts
Pick: Cardinals
No David Johnson. No Andrew Luck. That takes a lot of shine off of this game.
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Pick: Titans
It's going to take several games like last week for me to put some faith in the Jaguars. I think that the Jaguars are going to need more offense than they showed last week to top the Titans. Losing receiver Allen Robinson to a season-ending knee injury doesn't help.
Miami Dolphins @ Los Angeles Chargers
Pick: Chargers
The Dolphins open their season in week 2. The Chargers find a way in their itty-bitty stadium.
New York Jets @ Oakland Raiders
Pick: Raiders
This game could get ugly.
San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks
Pick: Seahawks
I'd like to pick an upset here but I don't see the Seahawks dropping to 0-2 at home.
Washington Redskins @ Los Angeles Rams
Pick: Rams
The George Allen Bowl! I like Sean McVay's play-calling and his team's defense more than those of the Redskins.
Dallas Cowboys @ Denver Broncos
Pick: Broncos
The Broncos avenge Super Bowl XII.
Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons
Pick: Falcons
A coin flip. I hope that this game is as good as it should be.
Detroit Lions @ New York Giants
Pick: Giants
Missing Odell Beckham only explains so much. The Giants offense can't be as sad as it looked in week 1.
Or something like that.
