Minnesota Vikings 54-man Roster

It wouldn’t be a typical week in the Minnesota Vikings 2023 season if the roster isn’t tweaked for injury reasons. The following players have been ruled out for the Week 18 game against the Detroit Lions.

Receiver Jalen Nailor was this week’s addition to the injured reserve list. He’s missed the three games since receiving a concussion in the Week 14 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, he’s on injured reserve for that helmet-to-helmet hit. 

Cornerbacks Joejuan Williams and Jaylin Williams were promoted from the practice squad. They will supplement the cornerback depth with the losses of Byron Murphy Jr. and Mekhi Blackmon. Receiver Lucky Jackson was signed from the practice squad to the active roster to replace Nailor. 

The Vikings still have a slim shot at the playoffs. They must defeat the Lions and hope for a few other particular outcomes. But there is a chance.
