Coach and General Manager Vacancies

It’s the annual head coach and general manager churn. Three teams fired their leaders during the season. Three more teams fired their coaches soon after the end of the season. Then, after decades of success, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots announced “amicable” separations with Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick. Interview requests and some interviews have started this week.

Teams looking for a new head coach:
Carolina Panthers - Frank Reich fired
Las Vegas Raiders - Josh McDaniels fired
Los Angeles Chargers - Brandon Staley fired
Atlanta Falcons - Arthur Smith fired
Washington Commanders - Ron Rivera fired
Tennessee Titans - Mike Vrabel fired
Seattle Seahawks - Pete Carroll and the Seahawks decided on a separation
New England Patriots - Bill Belichick and the Patriots decided on a separation

While the Belichick-Patriots separation was expected by most, the head coach openings in Tennessee, Seattle, and New England still feel somewhat shocking.

Teams looking for a new general manager:
Carolina Panthers - Scott Fitterer fired
Las Vegas Raiders - Dave Ziegler fired
Los Angeles Chargers - Tom Telesco fired

The teams in need of new leadership have started the interview request/interview process.
