Walter Camp Preseason All-America Team

On Thursday, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced it's 2020 Preseason All-America Team. That's pretty big news at a time when there's rarely any sports news. The Walter Camp Football Foundation is an all-volunteer organization and caretaker of the nation’s oldest college football All-America team. It's the oldest college football All-America team because Walter Camp was the first person to pick such a team. He's the man that did a lot of the heavy lifting in hauling the game out of it's rugby and soccer origins. With that introduction out of the way, here's the Walter Camp Preseason All-America Team.

If I could pull one player from this team and add him to the roster of the Minnesota Vikings that player would be Penei Sewell. He is so good. Of course, Trevor Lawrence would be tempting. So would Derek Stingley.

Look at itt-bitty Appalachian State and Troy having preseason All-Americans.
