With only a year of work it looks like there are some happy teams. Perhaps more than the average number of happy teams a year after a draft. There are some teams still waiting to see what they have. The teams that took receivers at the top of the draft (Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Chargers) stand out. The Titans got a couple of glimpses as to what Corey Davis can do but injuries slowed him all season. Injuries were an issue with Mike Williams as well. Both rookie years were more of a quick glance than a solid look.

It's amazing that only two offensive linemen were taken in the first round.

All three quarterbacks taken in the first round are the unquestioned leaders of their respective teams. That should be fun. DeShaun Watson has easily showed the best but his brilliant rookie year was cut short by an ACL tear. His rehab and return will be something to watch. If he can return to the form that he showed the last time that he was in an NFL game, the Texans could challenge the Jacksonville Jaguars for the AFC South title. .

Ohio State is a defensive backfield factory. Marshon Lattimore, Malik Hooker, and Gareon Conley were selected in the first round last year. Denzel Ward should be top-10 pick this year. The Buckeyes just keep reloading.

The San Francisco 49ers are probably experiencing some regrets for trading into the first round to select Alabama linebacker Rueben Foster.

The Minnesota Vikings skipped the first round fun last year as payment for quarterback Sam Bradford. It's great to see them scheduled to make a first round selection this year.
