We're sailing through the 2016 NFL season. Week 5. October. Leaves are changing. Here are some thoughts on the Week 5 schedule.
Houston Texans @ Minnesota Vikings
Pick: Vikings
Here's hoping that the Vikings sail into their Week 6 bye undefeated with the chance to get some players healthy.
Washington Redskins @ Baltimore Ravens
Pick: Ravens
This is mostly a pick against what the Redskins are doing on defense.
New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Pick: Steelers
With Le'Veon Bell back it just feels like the Steelers are about to go on a run. And the Jets are struggling.
Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins
Pick: Titans
I'm not sure about either of these teams. Just a hunch.
New England Patriots @ Cleveland Browns
Pick: Patriots
A lot of talking heads are honking about Tom Brady coming back pissed. I think that he's coming back to play some football.
Phiadelphia Eagles @ Detroit Lions
Pick: Lions
Former Lions head coach Jim Schwartz has the Eagles defense playing great. I'm thinking that the Lions win a shootout.
Chicago Bears @ Indianapolis Colts
Pick: Colts
Neither team has started the season well but Andrew Luck should be the difference in this game.
Atlanta Falcons @ Denver Broncos.
Pick: Broncos
The soaring Falcons offense vs the unbreakable Broncos defense. Defense wins.
San Diego Chargers @ Oakland Raiders
Pick: Chargers
The Chargers have found some clever ways to lose games. I think that they find a way to stun the Raiders at home.
Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Rams
Pick: Bills
The Rams are a surprising 3-1. It's also a shaky 3-1. The Bills have played great the last two weeks.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Dallas Cowboys
Pick: Bengals
This might be the most interesting game of Week 5. I'm guessing that the Bengals defense finds a way to slow those Cowboys rookies.
New York Giants @ Green Bay Packers
Pick: Giants
The Packers have yet to play a complete game. Maybe they'll be susceptible to a few big plays by the Giants trio of talented receivers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers
Pick: Panthers
The Panthers simply have to win this game.
These picks should not be used for gambling purposes.
