Flea Flicker Week 4 Predictions

Week 4! A quarter of the season will be in the books after this week's games. That simply can't be so.

We have one of the "oh-so early on the west coast," idiotic London games. The Jacksonville Jaguars "host" the Indianapolis Colts in London. This game will start at 6:30 in the morning in the Pacific time zone. This is as stupid as starting a Monday night game at 10:30 at night in the Eastern time zone. Each is considered super by the suits at 345 Park Avenue. I love football but this is ridiculous. You dilute something enough and it eventually becomes tasteless. Anyway, here are some picks.

Indianapolis Colts "@" Jacksonville Jaguars
Pick: Colts
Every talking head says that the Jaguars have to win this game. The Colts have to win this game as well. Some talking heads say that Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley could lose his job if his team loses their fourth game. The talking heads talk a lot.

Seattle Seahawks @ New York Jets
Pick: Jets
It's really no stretch to say that the outcome of this game depends on the health of Russell Wilson's knee, ankle, etc. I'm going with the chances that he's not healthy and that Ryan Fitzpatrick throws much fewer than six interceptions.

Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears
Pick: Bears
The Bears haven't played well but they aren't going to lose every game and division games are often a toss-up.

Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots
Pick: Patriots
I want to see the Patriots win this game simply because of Rex Ryan's sick obsession with Bill Belichick.

Cleveland Browns @ Washington Redskins
Pick: Browns
Simply because this Browns team is a plucky bunch.

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons
Pick: Panthers
The Panthers have been simmering since their loss to the Vikings. I'm guessing that they get their offense and defense on track today.

Oakland Raiders @ Baltimore Ravens
Pick: Ravens
This is a toss-up. I'm going with the Ravens because they are at home and I still don't really trust the Raiders defense.

Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans
Pick: Texans
The Titans aren't playing well and the Texans have had a 10-day mini-bye since they were shut out by the Patriots.

Denver Broncos @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Pick: Broncos
It's tempting to pick the Buccaneers in an upset but then I keep thinking about the foolish manner in which they let a win slip away last week.

Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers
Pick: 49ers
Simply a hunch.

New Orleans Saints @ San Diego Chargers
Pick: Chargers
I want to pick the Saints because I don't think that any team that can move the ball like they can move it stays win-less for long. But then I think about their undermanned defense.

Los Angeles Rams @ Arizona Cardinals
Pick: Cardinals
The Rams play great against their division foes. I don't see the talented Cardinals dropping to 1-3. That would be inconceivable!

Kansas City Chiefs @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Pick: Steelers
The Steelers get Le'Veon Bell back this week. If he's ready to roll so are the Steelers.

New York Giants @ Minnesota Vikings
Pick: Vikings
I'd pick the Vikings even if they were shitty.

There it is.
