Throwback Thursday: The All-Time AP College Football Poll

The Associated Press has been ranking college football teams since 1936. 80 years. To celebrate all of those years the AP came up with their All-Time Top-25 Poll. To determine the ranking they went every single one of their 1,103 polls. 165 schools have been ranked in those polls. 44 have been ranked #1. Minnesota was their first #1. To come up with this Top-25, the AP awarded a point for appearances, a point for #1 rankings, and a 10 point bonus for an AP National Championship. Here's the All-Time AP Top-25 College Football Poll.

There have only been three seasons during the 80-year history of the AP poll in which the Buckeyes were not ranked at least once, the fewest poll-less seasons of any program.
