Flea Flicker Top-15 Tight Ends

Continuing the Flea Flicker Top-15 series and passing the time before training camp, here's a look at the Top-15 Tight Ends entering the 2016 season.

15. Jimmy Graham, Seattle Seahawks
Starting this list with Graham at #15 is probably a mistake. Talent-wise, impact-wise, he's among the top two or three tight ends in the game. Injuries kept him from really contributing in his first season in Seattle. If he stays on the field this season for anything close to 16 games he won't be at #15 very long.

14. Coby Fleener, New Orleans Saints
Can Fleener be the receiver for Drew Brees that Jimmy Graham once was?

13. Eric Ebron, Detrot Lions
Last season, Ebron started to look like the player that the Lions were expecting when they selected with the 10th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft. He'll be expected to help fill the large receiving hole left by the retirement of Calvin Johnson.

12. Martellus Bennett, New England Patriots
Bennett paired with Rob Gronkowski could be a very scary thing for defenses.

11. Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings
Vikings offensive line woes has forced Rudolph to be more blocker than receiver the past couple of seasons. If that line is improved this year he could move up this list. He has the talent to do so.

10. Gary Barnidge, Cleveland Browns
Some of Barnidge's catches were the only highlights of the Browns offense last seaon. He just needs better players around him. Especially at quarterback.

  9. Julius Thomas, Jacksonville Jaguars
He was signed as a free agent during the 2015 offseason to be a difference-maker in the Jaguars offense. Injuries kept him from being that player. He has the talent to be that player.

  8. Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Witten is an all-time great. He'll be considered among the best tight ends in the game until he retires. Then he'll be considered among the best tight ends to ever play the game.

  7. Ladarius Green, San Diego Chargers
Green has been a breakout candidate for a couple of years. Now, he's out form the formidable shadow of Antonio Gates. He could be nightmare for defenses in the Steelers explosive offense.

6. Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans
Walker has quietlty joined the tight end elite. His 57-yard catch-and-run touchdown against the Patriots last season was ridiculous.

  5. Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins
He's smaller than most tight ends so he moves better than most tight ends.

  4. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
Players Kelce's size shouldn't move the way that he moves. He makes so many big players.

  3. Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati Bengals
There were times last season in which Eifert seemed unguardable. He's only getting better.

  2. Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
The Panthers were able to pose a potent passing attack with Ted Ginn at the top of the receiver depth chart last season. That was due nearly as much to the terrific skills of Olsen as it was to Cam Newton.

  1. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
He's the best in the game. He's real close to being considered the best to ever play the position.
