Ten players remain unsigned. Ten!
You can thank the rookie salary structure that came out of the 2011 CBA for the small number of players that remain unsigned. 10 players. That's incredible. It wasn't that long ago, six years, that there might only be 10 draft picks signed by the middle of June. None of the first round picks would probably be signed. Now, there's only four first round picks unsigned. The Minnesota Vikings rarely started negotiating with their rookies until the calendar flipped over to July. Now, they get their entire draft class signed by the second week of May. It's a wonderful, new rookie-signing world. Although, the Bosa-Chargers relationship is beginning to look a little like one of those player-team negotiations from the past.
