Reggie Nelson, now with the Oakland Raiders, had a terrific season with the Bengals last year. There's no surprise that he's part of the Top 100. The surprise is that he's ranked ahead of Harrison Smith, Earl Thomas, Reshad Jones, and T.J. Ward.
Will Michael Bennett ever get his due as one of the best defensive linemen in the league. #59 isn't too bad but he's closer to a Top 25 player. He was the best football player on the field in Super Bowl XLIX. He can rip apart an offense from anywhere along the defensive line.
Blake Bortles has played very well in his first two seasons. But, #56 feels a little high this early.
Lavonte David and Thomas Davis are two of my favorite outside linebackers. 3-4 pass rushing linebackers seem to get all of the attention these days. It's great to see linebackers that possess a variety of talents get some attention. David and Davis are two of the best. So fun to watch.
Then there's Eric Berry. He spent the 2015 offseason beating Hodgkin's lymphoma. Cancer kept him out of only a handful of games at the end of the 2014 season. His return and play in 2015 was outstanding. #55. Incredible.
It looks like NFL Network is trying to put Houston Texans corner Charles James in the commentary role handled so long and so well by former Pittsburgh Steelers corner Ike Taylor. James proved to be a character on Hard Knocks. Now, he's starting to shine on the Top 100 show.
