Approaching three weeks since the completion of the 2025 NFL Draft, 13 of the 32 players selected in the first round have singed their first NFL contract.
The only first round signing status that really matters is that of Donovan Jackson. The Minnesota Vikings had only five picks in the draft so they didn’t have as much work to do as the league’s other 31 teams. They signed four of those five picks in advance of last weekend’s rookie minicamp. I was hoping that Jackson would also have his deal completed. That didn’t happen. The Vikings urgency in getting draft picks signed rarely matches mine.
