Unsigned Draft Picks

Here are the players selected in the 2016 NFL Draft that remain unsigned through this weekend.

New York Jets
Darron Lee, LB, 1st round pick

Cleveland Browns
Carl Nassib, DE, 3rd round
Joe Schobert, LB, 4th round

Houston Texans
Will Fuller, WR, 1st round

Tennessee Titans
Kevin Byard, S, 3rd round

San Diego Chargers
Joey Bosa, DE, 1st round

Dallas Cowboys
Maliek Collins, DT, 3rd round

New York Giants
B.J. Goodson, LB, 4th round

San Francisco 49ers
Josh Garnett, G, 1st round
Will Redmond, CB, 3rd round

Ten players remain unsigned. Ten!

You can thank the rookie salary structure that came out of the 2011 CBA for the small number of players that remain unsigned. 10 players. That's incredible. It wasn't that long ago, six years, that there might only be 10 draft picks signed by the middle of June. None of the first round picks would probably be signed. Now, there's only four first round picks unsigned. The Minnesota Vikings rarely started negotiating with their rookies until the calendar flipped over to July. Now, they get their entire draft class signed by the second week of May. It's a wonderful, new rookie-signing world. Although, the Bosa-Chargers relationship is beginning to look a little like one of those player-team negotiations from the past.
