Underrated NFC Players

Sticking with the underrated theme. Here's a look at an underrated player on each of the 16 NFC teams.

Minnesota Vikings

Jarius Wright, WR
Wright is probably the least known member of an underrated receiver group. He just makes plays. Often big plays. The Vikings thought enough of Wright to sign him to a contract extension last year.

Green Bay Packers
Mike Daniels, DL
Daniels wrecks opposing offenses so often that he should be better known.

Detroit Lions
Marvin Jones, WR
Jones is new to Detroit. He's been an underrated receiver since he was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chicago Bears
Pernell McPhee, LB
McPhee has been a pass rushing force since his days with the Baltimore Ravens.

New York Giants
Weston Richburg, C
The Giants have quietly added top picks to their offensive line in recent years. Richburg is emerging as one of the better centers in the league.

Washington Redskins
Bashaud Breeland, CB
Breeland has been a solid starter since he entered the league in 2014. With the addition of Josh Norman this offseason Breeland will probably be tested a bunch.

Phialdelphia Eagles
Mychal Kendricks, LB
I've been a big fan of Kendricks since his Cal days. He makes plays all over the field.

Dallas Cowboys
Sean Lee, LB
If Lee could ever avoid the injuries that seem to hit him on an annual basis he could be a superstar.

Atlanta Falcons
Desmond Trufant, CB
Trufant is about an inch away from elite status.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE
Seferian Jenkins is sometimes an afterthought to Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, Doug Martin, and Vincent Jackson in the Buccaneers offense. He was a nightmare for defenses in college. He could be the same in the NFL.

Carolina Panthers
Bene' Benwikere, CB
Benewikere was missed when he was lost to injury last season. He steps into Josh Norman's big shoes this season.

New Orleans Saints
Brandin Cooks, WR
Cooks may not be underrated but be he has the talent to be elite. He isn't there yet. He could be real soon.

San Francisco 49ers
Aaron Lynch, LB
I just feel like Lynch is on the verge of shining in a big way.

Arizona Cardinals
Jared Veldheer, T
Veldheer has skated just below the radar for a few years. Perhaps this is the year in which he starts receiving the attention he deserves.

Seattle Seahawks
K.J. Wright, LB
Wright gets lost among all of the other stars on the Seahawks defense.

Los Angeles Rams
Alec Ogeltree, LB
Ogeltree has superstar talent. With the line that the Rams have in front of him he should make plays sideline to sideline with ease.
