Post-Senior Bowl Pre-Combine Mock Draft

Every year I try to refrain from doing these damn things. Especially this early. Every year I just can't help myself. It's very sad. Here's a way too early Mock of the 2016 NFL Draft.

1.   Tennessee Titans-Laremy Tunsil, T, Mississippi
2.   Cleveland Browns-Jared Goff, QB, Cal
3.   San Diego Chargers-Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida St.
4.   Dallas Cowboys-Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio St.
5.   Jacksonville Jaguars-DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
6.   Baltimore Ravens-Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
7.   San Francisco 49ers-Jaylon Smith, LN, Notre Dame
8.   Miami Dolphins-Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
9.   Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson
10. New York Giants-Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio St.
11. Chicago Bears-A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
12. New Orleans Saints-Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota St.
13. Philadelphia Eagles-Ronnie Stanley, T, Notre Dame
14. Oakland Raiders-Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Mississippi
15. Los Angeles Rams-Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
16. Detroit Lions-Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech
17. Atlanta Falcons-Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
18. Indianapolis Colts-Taylor Decker, T, Ohio St.
19. Buffalo Bills-Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma St.
20. New York Jets-Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
21. Washington Redskins-Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
22. Houston Texans-Connor Cook, QB, Michigan St.
23. Minnesota Vikings-Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi
24. Cincinnati Bengals-Darron Lee, LB, Ohio St.
25. Pittsburgh Steelers-Eli Apple, CB, Ohio St.
26. Seattle Seahawks-Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech.
27. Green Bay Packers-Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
28. Kansas City Chiefs-Jerran Reed, DT, Alabama
29. Arizona Cardinals-Leonard Floyd, LB, Georgia
30. Carolina Panthers-Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky
31. Denver Broncos-Jack Conklin, T, Michigan St.

It's a start.

It feels a little odd, but also somewhat natural, to type/say Los Angeles Rams.

Seeing two teams that were in the Super Bowl only three years ago, Ravens and 49ers, drafting at #6 and #7 is a little shocking. Fortunes can change so fast.

As for the Minnesota Vikings selection of Mississippi receiver Laquon Teadwell. I doubt that it happens. If the draft were held today, maybe Treadwell drops to #23. I don't think that he drops in late April. I also don't see only one receiver going in the first round. This year's receiver group isn't as strong as the past two but it's not that weak.

  1. As a Bronco fan, OT Jason Spriggs of Indiana would be a better scheme fit than Conklin, who is considered a RT only.
