No Football

It's a sad day. No Football.

This is the first Sunday without NFL football, or some form of it, since early August. About six months ago. Six months of football Sundays is followed by six months of just Sundays. It's a cycle with no end. No matter how hard the NFL pushes to expand the games beyond Sundays this will always be the day for football. The "feeling kinda Sunday" jingle that bounced around the game broadcasts a few years ago still bounces in my head as game day approaches. As Sunday approaches. Sundays and football. It's the best! It's natural! It's right! Now football is on break. At least from Sundays. The NFL Draft doesn't even close on Sundays anymore. We get a little tease of Sunday football in two weeks with the Scouting Combine. On that particular Sunday we can watch the defensive linemen and linebackers running around in shorts. Jumping, and dodging little orange cones. I miss football already.

How will we deal with this void.

No Sunday Football until August 7.  About six months.

Happy Valentine's Day!
