Philadelphia Eagles
DeVonta Smith, WR
DeVonta Smith had a nice rookie season. 64 catches. 916 yards. Some might label that a great rookie season. He became the Eagles top receiving threat. Strangely, he might be an even better player if he doesn’t have to be the team’s top receiving threat. Enter A.J. Brown. Without having played a snap together, Brown and Smith are already being considered one of the league’s best receiving duos.
New York Giants
Andrew Thomas, OT
Andrew Thomas was selected with the fourth pick of the 2020 NFL Draft to lock down the left side of the Giants offensive line. He struggled some as a rookie. He played better in his second season. Now, it’s time to be the player that he was drafted to be. With immense rookie Evan Neal on the right side, the Giants should boast one of the best pairs of tackles in the league.
Dallas Cowboys
Micah Parsons, LB
Micah Parsons broke out big as a rookie last season. I think that he was only scratching the surface of his ability. Scary. This kid has such a competitive drive that he’ll never be satisfied. Very scary. I have no idea how he made it to the 12th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Washington Commodores
Johan Dotson, WR
Johan Dotson was my favorite receiver in the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s so technically sound. Great routes, great hands, great body control. I really like the Commodores collection of offensive playmakers. Antonio Gibson, Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, J.D. McKissic. Dotson will fit in nicely. If Carson Wentz can stay on the field, the Commodores offense could be a problem.
