Minnesota Vikings' 87-Man Roster

It's time for another look at the offseason roster of the Minnesota Vikings. It isn't because the team had filled one, or more, of the three remaining roster spots. No, the reason for another look at the Vikings' offseason roster is because cornerbacks Kris Boyd and Harrison Hand have swapped jersey numbers. It appears that Boyd had been eyeing Xaver Rhodes' #29 for the entirety of his rookie season and he grabbed the number from a lowly rookie.

Also, I've separated the offensive and defensive linemen into their respective positions. The defensive linemen are pretty straightforward but I'm often reluctant to do so for the offensive linemen. In the offseason, it's often a guess as to where some of the offensive linemen will be playing as they develop and compete in training camp. Oli Udoh and Aviante Collins are listed as tackles on the team website but I expect both to get a lot of work at guard. Actually, I think that Collins should already be listed there and I wouldn't be surprised if Udoh emerges as one of the starting guards. The stated goal is often to find the five best offensive lineman and put them in a combination that forms the most cohesive unit.

So, here it is. The new, current Minnesota Vikings' 87-man roster. With updated roster numbers for Kris Boyd and Harrison Hand.
