Before he became the architect of the Kansas City Chiefs for about twenty years, Carl Peterson did the same for the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars. He knew the USFL as well as anyone. Here's the All-Time USFL Team that he selected and posted on the Talk of Fame Network in 2016.

Seeing the number of players from the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars it's no surprise that the team played in all three championship games, winning the last two. There was a lot of football talent in the USFL. Jim Kelly, Steve Young, Gary Zimmerman, and Reggie White went on to the the NFL and then the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Many of the players on these two All-Time teams had solid NFL careers. It was a fun league with many very good football players. I highly recommend Jeff Pearlman's Football For A Buck for an in depth and often hilarious look into the USFL
