The roster limit for this time of year is 90 players so the Vikings have two spots available. One will go to the winner of the punting competition taking place right now during the rookie minicamp.

The punter still standing could be signed as soon as today.

The 90th spot could also be filled by a player trying out this weekend. Or, the Vikings could be waiting until after the coaches get a look at the full roster at the minicamps held over the next month.
