Black College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Finalists

The Black College Football Hall of Fame announced 29 finalists for it’s Hall of Fame Class of 2022. The list includes 25 players, three coaches, and a contributor. The finalists were selected from a field of 200 nominees by a an 11-member Selection Committee composed of prominent journalists, commentators, historians, former NFL General Managers, and football executives. 

The Class of 2022 will be announced on December 28, 2021. They will be honored during the Black College Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia.

I’m hoping that former Minnesota Vikings receivers Sammy White and Jake Reed are part of the induction festivities in June. I’m also partial to John “Big Train” Moody. He’s been waiting too long.
