It sure feels like the season is zipping towards the playoffs. Maybe it's due to the unfortunate fact that Christmas decorations are popping up before we hit Thanksgiving. Anyway, here's a guess at this week's games.
Minnesota Vikings @ Seattle Seahawks
Pick: Vikings
The Vikings are long due for a win over the Seahawks.
New York Jets @ Cincinnati Bengals
Pick: Jets
The Jets are finally playing like the team many thought they'd be. Decent. Maybe better. The Bengals are playing like the Bengals.
Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts
Pick: Titans
Both teams are among the toughest in the league. I'd probably be picking the Colts if TY Hilton were on the field. They're simply a different team with their biggest playmaker. Most teams are.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Miami Dolphins
Pick: Eagles
It doesn't look like either the Eagles or the Cowboys want to win the NFC East. So the division is there for the taking for whichever team can simply win a game.
Green Bay Packers @ New York Giants
Pick: Packers
Wouldn't it be a gas if the Giants upset the Packers. I think so.
Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Pick: Browns
Both teams should be fiery for this one. The Steelers are just too decimated by injuries on the offense.
Washington Redskins @ Carolina Panthers
Pick: Panthers
The Panthers have to go on another run if they have any hope of jumping back into the Wild Card chase.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Pick: Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are feisty. The Jaguars are fading.
San Francisco 49ers @ Baltimore Ravens
Pick: Ravens
Huge game. The Ravens have been on quite a roll. The teams that have faced the Ravens offense before probably have the best chance of slowing it. That bodes well for the 49ers if they face the Ravens in February. It's not so great for them today.
Los Angeles Rams @ Arizona Cardinals

The Rams have been so mediocre of late that I'm going with the upset.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver Broncos
Pick: Broncos
The Chargers are matching the Rams for football mediocrity. Fun times for L.A. football fans.
Oakland Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs
Pick: Chiefs
This game was looking like a huge matchup until the Raiders got taken apart by the Jets last week. It's still a big game as a single game separates the two in the AFC West chase. The Raiders appear to be headed in the right direction. The Chiefs are better right now.
New England Patriots @ Houston Texans
Pick: Patriots
The Patriots simply find a way to win.
