Throwback Thursday: 2018 Final Flea Flicker Mock Draft

Mock Drafts are fun but they mean so little. Even the most accurate Mock Draft isn't very accurate. Here's a look at my final Mock Draft from last year.

32. Baltimore Ravens (from Eagles)-Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville

So, I predicted only three team and player correctly. Splendid.
I did put the Packers and Josh Jackson together but the Packers made that pick in the second round.

I did accurately predict the position that a team would select seven times:
(team-mock/actual)
Cleveland Browns-Sam Darnold/Baker Mayfield
New York Jets-Baker Mayfield/Sam Darnold
Oakland Raiders-Mike McGlinchey/Kolton Miller
Green Bay Packers-Josh Jackson/Jaire Alexander
Arizona Cardinals-Lamar Jackson/Josh Rosen
Cincinnati Bengals-Will Hernandez/Billy Price
New England Patriots-Kolton Miller/Isaiah Wynn

There was one player that I got far more right than the NFL. Derwin James. There was no conceivable reason for him to still be on the board at #17. There was no conceivable reason for him to slip out of the top-10. His talent and potential was top-10 caliber, maybe even top-5.  His play in college showed that and his play as a rookie proved it.

Mock Drafts are fun. Even if they're wildly inaccurate.
