Flea Flicker Week 1 Predictions

The first Sunday of the 2018 NFL Season. It's a beautiful thing. Here's a look at how the games might go.

San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings
Pick: Vikings
Is there really any other outcome?

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots
Pick: Patriots
If the injured Texans players are back to form this could be a really fun game.

Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens
Pick: Ravens
The Bills could struggle this season and the Ravens could surprise.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Giants
Pick: Giants
The Jaguars stormed into the NFL elite last season. They still rely on Blake Bortles.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints
Pick: Saints
I might have given this game more thought if Jameis Winston was playing in it.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns
Pick: Browns
The intangibles couldn't have been set up better for the Browns to steal one from the Steelers. So, I'll go with them.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Indianapolis Colts
Pick: Bengals
I want to pick the Colts because I believe that Andrew Luck is ready. But he might need a couple games to knock off some rust and the Bengals could be pretty good.

Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins
Pick:: Titans
Both teams are a mystery moving forward. I have more faith in Marcus Mariota than Ryan Tannehill.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Los Angeles Chargers
Pick: Chiefs
With Patrick Mahomes running the offense the Chiefs should be wildly entertaining. Right now, I think that the Chargers are a much more talented team.

Seattle Seahawks @ Denver Broncos
Pick: Broncos
Super Bowl XLVIII rematch. It'll be perfect if a snap sails over Russell Wilson's head.

Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers
Pick: Cowboys
I still can't wrap my head around Norv Turner calling the shots for a Cam Newton-led offense.

Washington Redskins @ Arizona Cardinals
Pick: Cardinals
Both teams could be very good or not so good. That makes this game very interesting. Perhaps Sam Bradford can repeat his opening game magic of a year ago.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers
Pick: Packers
The most contested rivalry in the history of the league. This one is #197.

New York Jets @ Detroit Lions
Pick: Lions
The Jets traded away their best quarterback so I'm going with the Lions.

Los Angeles Rams @ Oakland Raiders
Pick: Rams
The Gruden era continues to stumble.

Football's back for real. Not this Thursday night nonsense.
