Flea Flicker Top-15 Defensive Ends

Continuing the Flea Flicker Top-15 series and passing the time before training camp, here's a look at the Top-15 Defensive Ends entering the 2016 season.

15. Mario Edwards Jr, Oakland Raiders
This might be a little early and very optimistic for Edwards, The Raiders young defense wasn't quite the same when he wasn't in the lineup last year. And he was only a rookie. There's something about his play that reminds me of Michael Bennett of the Seattle Seahawks. Edwards can play all across the defensive line.

14. Olivier Vernon, New York Giants
The Giants gave Vernon a lot of money in free agency so that he can get to the quarterback. A lot. He has the talent to do so.

13. Leonard Williams/Sheldon Richardson, New York Jets
The Jets have a surplus of these 3-4 defensive ends. They all can play. They all can be stars in the NFL. Head coach Todd Bowles has the enviable task of incorporating all of them into his defense. If they are all under contract and not suspended.

12. Brandon Graham, Philadelphia Eagles
Graham is always around the ball and always being a nuisance for offenses. He's especially adept at forcing fumbles.

11. Cameron Jordan, New Orleans Saints
Jordan can be a little up and down. When he's up he's real tough to stop.

10. Calais Campbell, Arizona Cardinals
He might not put up the sack numbers of other ends but that doesn't diminish his impact. He simply makes plays.

  9. Carlos Dunlap, Cincinnati Bengals
Dunlap has played in the shadows of linemates Geno Atkins, Michael Johnson, and even Damato Peko. He really came into his own last season.

  8. Robert Quinn, Los Angles Rams
Quinn missed about half of the 2015 season. When he's on the field he's a terror of a pass rusher. It helps that he's on one of the most talented defensive lines in the league.

  7. Mike Daniels, Green Bay Packers
As a Minnesota Vikings fan I haven't been happy with the way that Daniels has developed as a player. He's become a beast on the defensive line.

  6. Everson Griffen, Minnesota Vikings
Some were stunned in 2014 when the Vikings gave him a big contract without ever being a starter. Those same people soon learned what Vikings fans have known since 2010. Griffen can play.

  5. Michael Bennett, Seattle Seahawks
It's wrong to classify Bennett as solely an end. He plays all over the defensive line. His performance in Super Bowl XLIX was incredible. He was the best player on the field that day.

  4. Ezekiel Ansah, Detroit Lions
Ansah didn't start playing football until his BYU days. He's turning into a pass rushing nightmare.

  3. Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
I still can't believe that the New England Patriots traded Jones. They must not have wanted to pay what it would have surely cost to retain him. Maybe the Cardinals play him as a pass rushing outside linebacker. I like him best as a defensive end. Either way, the Cardinals now have a terrific edge rusher.

  2. Muhammed Wilkerson, New York Jets
He can dismantle an offensive line.

  1. J.J. Watt, Houston Texans
Watt won his third Defensive Player of the Year award last season. He's only been in the league for five years.
