Minnesota Vikings Post-Free Agency Roster

It’s a bit early to be putting an end to free agency. There’s really no end to free agency but signings have slowed to a trickle. It’s also draft month. Teams are more focused on draft prospects than free agents. The first week of April is a good time to take a look at the “new” Minnesota Vikings roster. There was an obvious focus on remaking a defense that was often terrible last season. All but one of the new Vikings are on defense.

The Vikings defense is already different than the one that last played a game. The Vikings offense is mostly the same. While that isn’t such a bad thing as the offense was mostly good last season the offensive line still needs some work. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the Vikings added a free agent lineman in the coming days but most significant reinforcements will probably be found in the draft.
