Minnesota Vikings Unofficial 2020 Depth Chart

Earlier this week, the first unofficial depth chart of the 2020 Minnesota Vikings was released on the team's website. I find it funny that the depth chart released by the team on the team's official website is termed "unofficial." I suppose that it's to cover themselves if game day decisions run counter to what's listed on the "unofficial" depth chart.

Some Offensive Thoughts
It's safe to assume that if something were to happen to Garrett Bradbury that there'd be some line juggling. Pat Elflein probably moves to center and Dru Samia steps in at right guard.

I wouldn't worry too much about Justin Jefferson being a backup. That says more about Olabisi Johnson's improvement than anything Jefferson did or didn't do. The better the receivers as a group the better the offense is as a whole. Jefferson will be on the field often.

Some Defensive Thoughts
I was a little surprised to see Troy Dye as the backup to Eric Kendricks at middle linebacker. I just assumed that Dye was backing up the outside linebackers, strongside in particular.

I can't wait to see the young cornerbacks in real games.
