Michael Pierce, C.J. Mosley, Star Lotulelei, Eddie Goldman, Damien Williams, and a load of Patriots headline the opt out list. Several big guys like Pierce, Lotulelei, Goldman, Marcus Cannon, Eddie Vanderdoes, Chance Warmack, etc. made the difficult decision. Then there's Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. He decided that his work as a doctor on the front lines of the pandemic in Canada was more important than football. There's football heroes and then there's real life heroes. Dr. Duvernay-Tardif qualifies as both.
