With Mini-camps on the way and training camp over two months away It's way too early to be doing this. But it's May. It's what fans do. Defensive line will be the most difficult group to trim. If the injured nerve in Sharrif Floyd's knee responds in time to get ready for the season he's in the starting lineup. When he's healthy he simply disrupts the intentions of an offense. If the nerve doesn't respond his career could be in jeopardy. Tom Johnson and/or Will Sutton have the talent to contribute but the numbers ahead of them make it tough. If the Vikings keep nine defensive linemen one should make it. Johnson has the edge. Unless Sutton's age trumps Johnson's production.
