NFL Media Senior Analyst Gil Brandt spent 29 years ranking and drafting football players for the Dallas Cowboys. He's spent the last three decades ranking players for the rest of us. Brandt and scouting are synonymous. Here's a look at his most recent work. His Top-50 Draft Prospects for 2017.

Brandt has some interesting takes. First of all, in a draft in which many are reluctant to hand out top grades to the quarterbacks Brandt has Mitchell Trubisky and DeShaun Watson among his top-10 prospects. And three among his top-18. Second of all, Brandt, as well as nearly every other draft analyst, has been very critical of the offensive linemen in this draft yet he has Cam Robinson, Ryan Ramczyk, and Garrett Bolles among his top-22. Finally, Temple linebacker Haason Reddick has been a darling of draft analysts for months. Brandt shows lukewarm love by ranking him at #37.
Brandt ranked his Top-150 prospects. 51-150 can be found at the CFB 24/7: Path to the Draft section of NFL.com.
Budda Baker, Washington's little do-everything DB, comes in at #55 on Brandt's rankings. Seeing as Baker is a draft darling of mine and the Minnesota Vikings aren't scheduled to enter the daft fun until pick 48, I wouldn't mind seeing things play to Brandt's script.
Two more days.
