Willie Beavers, Moritz Boehringer, and Stephen Weatherly were 2016 draft picks. Beavers was a fourth round pick. That's a prime pick not making the final roster but the Vikings have become a very talented football team. The days of nearly every draft pick making the team are over for a while. It's a pretty good bet that the Vikings will try to add Beavers, Boehringer, and Weatherly to their practice squad. Especially Weatherly. He showed a lot of raw pass rushing talent. It also shouldn't be a surprise if the Vikings add Jhurell Pressley, Toby Johnson, C.J. Ham, Tre Roberson, and Joel Stave to the 10-man practice squad as well.
A busy day.
