The Minnesota Vikings established their initial 53-man roster on Saturday. That changed on Sunday. First, linebacker Ryan Connelly was claimed off waivers from the New York Giants. Hardy Nickerson Jr. was waived to make room for Connelly. So, the Vikings had a Cal player on the 53-man roster for less than 24 hours. After two days of practice squad additions (including Nickerson) and general roster tweaking the Minnesota Vikings 53-man roster now looks like this.
